Versatile and durable, the Sjobergs Scandi Plus 1425 workbench is perfectly suited for the demanding work of professional woodworkers and serious craftsmen. For strength, the top is constructed with full-length lamination of knot-free European beech. With the thickness of 1-1/2 in. in the center and a skirt of 4-5/16 in. this workbench can handle any project. Solid beech is also used in the preassembled trestle frame. The bench has 2 double rows of 3/4 in. dog holes working from both the front and tail vises, as well as dog holes in the trestle legs for a wide variety of clamping options. Included are 4 indestructible bench dogs with side springs to guarantee they will stay at the height needed. The dogs automatically adjust to non-parallel work pieces. Made in Sweden, Sjobergs Scandi Plus workbenches are built to provide a lifetime of solid use and satisfaction. The cabinet provides a large open compartment with an adjustable shelf for easy access to frequently used tools, while the door-fronted compartment keeps out dust and shavings. The cabinet helps to dampen vibration and reduce shifting. Made from birch plywood.
